i guess it would depend on where you are, new york the cops got away with killing an unarmed man at his batchlor party, in az if you kill someone with theres a chance you could stop them without doing so, your in alot of trouble, when i lived in cali, i kept hearing from many people including ones with badges its better to wound then to kill.but either way, there were alot of other things the scilons could have done other then open fire.calling the police comes to mind.they do that alot anyway.

Actually thats incorrect. If a security officer is certified to carry a sidearm they may do so at the descretion of the company they work for and the business that employs them. And no they can't wound him in case that was on your mind. Because if they do they would get in trouble with the police. He was carrying deadly weapons with they intent to harm somebody. Trust me, Iam a cop. And no Iam not sideing with the scientologists, but thats fact.
